Sydney Mikvah
A mikvah is a natural body of water or a gathering of water that has a designated connection to natural water. The pool is designed specifically for immersion, according to the rules and customs of Jewish law. It contains about 900 litres of water.

Immersion in the mikvah is one of the most important biblical commandments
and is an integral part of maintaining family purity. Both men and women are
commanded to use the mikvah at various times.

The mikvah offers the individual, the community and the nation of Israel the
remarkable gift of purity and holiness. No other religious establishment, structure or rite can affect the Jew in this way and on such an essential level.
